Whispering Vaults is part of the Citadel interior. Most runs enter by pushing through Cogwork Core from Choral Chambers. Expect moving‑block puzzles, vents, and a central shaft with a hidden map room.

- Path: Choral Chambers → Cogwork Core → Whispering Vaults (right‑side gauntlets/switches).
- Map: In the first/early rooms, drop a ceiling ladder or break a brittle wall off the central shaft to enter a secret map room.
- Bench: Left of the map room; ring and rest.
- Pickups: White Key up on the roof; Psalm/Sacred Cylinder further along the Vaults route.
Routes to Whispering Vaults
A) Choral Chambers → Cogwork Core → Vaults (most common)
- From Choral Chambers’ central room, drop into Cogwork Core.
- Clear right‑side gauntlets and flip switches; pushing far right transitions into Whispering Vaults.
B) Underworks steam chutes (alternate)
If you’ve looped through Underworks, ride steam vents up and exit into the Vaults from below.
Hidden Map Location (Two Approaches)
- Ceiling ladder method: After entering Vaults, head right past the tough guard. Look up for a small ladder; strike it to drop, climb up, and slip into the secret with the map.
- Central shaft wall: From the Vaults’ main vertical, strike a brittle corner to reveal the same secret room with the map.
Bench & Early Pickups
- Bench: From the map room, go left, ring the bell, and rest.
- White Key: Climb to the roof above and go right to grab it.
- Psalm/Sacred Cylinder: Along the Vaults loop by the speaker/altar; used with the Vaultkeeper later.
