Overview
Conductor’s Melody is obtained in the High Halls after clearing The Forum, a multi‑wave arena. You’ll approach from Choral Chambers using Clawline movement, then defeat mixed waves that culminate with Choir Clappers before meeting Conductor Ballador.
TL;DR
- Where: High Halls → The Forum (Citadel). Access High Halls from Choral Chambers using Clawline.
- What: Clear a multi‑wave arena that ends with two Choir Clappers; then talk to Conductor Ballador to learn Conductor’s Melody.
- Why: One of the three melodies (with Architect’s and Vaultkeeper’s) used to play the Threefold music and progress the main gate.

Requirements & Prep
- Ability: Clawline (grapple/hang) — mandatory to reach and traverse High Halls.
- Build: A wide‑hitbox survivability crest (e.g., Reaper Crest) and at least one ranged/throwable tool for flyers and the final wave.
Route: Get to High Halls and The Forum
- Start in Choral Chambers.
- From the upper‑left domes, chain ring swings and Clawline climbs to reach the High Halls entrance above.
- In High Halls, descend and head bottom‑left to the doorway marked as The Forum (arena). Inside is the gauntlet that unlocks Conductor’s Melody.
Tip: A room above the Forum spawns Clawmaidens. There’s a hidden silk web in the ceiling—break it to stop their spawns in the Citadel if they’re harassing your route.
Start the Gauntlet (The Forum)
Entering the Forum triggers a multi‑wave fight: mixed enemies early, a mid‑wave Choir Clapper, and two clappers in the finale. Clear all waves to open the path to Conductor Ballador and the Conductor’s Melody.
Strategy to Clear the Forum
Arena control and positioning
- Keep enemies on one side to avoid getting surrounded. Use wall‑jumps, glides, and pogo/harpoon hops to reset spacing and “shepherd” waves.
- Prioritize flyers first—they cause chip damage and interrupt binds. Up‑slashes and quick anti‑air strings stabilize the room.
Resource and tool management
- Save throwables/pins for the final wave to delete one big target on spawn and cut chaos in half.
- Farm silk during lighter waves (small flyers are ideal) so you have binds ready for the finale.
Dealing with Choir Clappers
- Bait the linear charge, hop over or pogo, then punish the recovery.
- Keep both clappers on the same side of you; never stand between them.
Reward and Progression
- After the final wave, meet Conductor Ballador to learn Conductor’s Melody (via Needolin). Nearby are a bench/Ventrica and a shortcut toward upper Choral Chambers.
- Main quest: Conductor’s Melody is one of three songs (with Vaultkeeper’s and Architect’s) used to play the Threefold music at the gate.
Troubleshooting
- Getting swarmed: Funnel left or right immediately—don’t fight in the center. Reset spacing with wall‑jumps and glides.
- Final wave too hard: Enter with full silk and a saved throwable. Delete one clapper on spawn to halve pressure.
- Flyers chipping you: Up‑slash first, then bind only after you’ve made space. Consider a wider‑hitbox crest.
